How to refer someone to REST
What you need to know
When you refer someone to REST, we will support them to work towards their recovery.
This could include ways to keep themselves safe and a support package that feels right for them.
Refer directly to REST
If you are a mental health professional you can refer directly to REST using this form.
Please note: we are only able to support people who are 18+
Your form will generate a text message to the person requiring support to confirm their referral has been received by our trained Triage Operator. The person requiring support will receive a further text message including the support offer and the details. As a professional, you will receive an email message to confirm that your referral has been received.
We will respond in a timely manner to all referrals and we are open 7 days a week.
Refer via the NHS
If you are not in a position to complete a referral then please call the NHS 111 option 2.
The person can then be assessed by a qualified clinician who can refer them to REST for the support they need.
